The sampling and exploration vessel “The Explorer” (length overall 114.85 meters), equipped with a fully
integrated 5 square meter subsea drill tool, the launch and recovery A-frame, full equipment, and the 20
ton/hour diamond processing plant.
The Sample Drill Tool is currently on the “The Explorer”. The system is a free standing
seabed drill sampler; its unique feature is its capacity to drill 5 square meter holes in the
seabed up to depths of 8 or 11 meters.
